Kirk Humanitarian

Spencer F. Kirk is an entrepreneur and philanthropist, and the Managing Director of Kirk Humanitarian. Mr. Kirk retired as the CEO of Extra Space Storage in 2016 and serves as a Director on the Extra Space Board. Before his involvement with Extra Space, Mr. Kirk co-founded Megahertz Corporation in 1985, which became the leading manufacturer of modems for laptop computers in the world. With his wife, Kristen, Spencer co-founded Kirk Humanitarian in 2003 with the mission of providing UNIMMAP MMS for pregnant women in low-and middle-income countries. Kirk Humanitarian is the leading manufacturer and donor of MMS and has reached more than 20 million pregnant women in 80 countries. All product is donated to qualified Ministries of Health and NGO partners. Mr. Kirk holds a B.A. in finance and an M.B.A. from the University of Utah.
